Many thanks to Meg, who’s sent more photographic evidence, so precious to me - who is STILL waiting for her author copies. *grump* Here’s our girl -

I think they make a lovely couple!
Thanks so much, Meg!

Thanks so much, Meg!
Cool! More people are showing off their copies.
I have a sighting in a bookstore in Ohio where I shop but had forgot the camera! Anyone else out there done reading? Want to exchange what we think the funniest line in the book is? I wanted to ROLF. Denise, what about a day where those of who have read can discuss? You could tell everyone else that they should ignore if they don’t want to see “spoilers”.
Thanks Denise.
Well I’m about 1/2 way through, the stomach flu has gotten in the way of my reading. I’m actually feeling better tonight than I did last night.Hoping to be over it completely by Sunday, so I can go down to Salt Lake City to see my new grandson.
I’m STILL waiting for my copy from amazon. At this rate, I’m just going to go buy it and have two copies.
I’ll give one to a friend.
Isn’t it great, Dani? Makes it all seem real.
Hi Jenny, that’s so cool you want to talk about it.
Might be better to wait a little though, don’t think everyone’s as speedy as you! We can declare a day a bit later, with a spoilers warning. Don’t know if you’re on other forums/groups where more people might have read it?
Glad you found some humour in there with all the angst. I can’t write pure angst.
Meg, so sorry you’re not well. A tummy bug - what misery.
But super congrats on the new grandson. That’s wonderful news!
JC, my dear, you go right ahead! Buy the damn thing in multiples!

Well I think the tummy bug is gone…..*crosses fingers* and I finished the book! Got a little enthralled reading the excerpt in the back and was a bit
when I turned the page and there wasn’t anymore….
Next year…..*sighs*
And the new grandson is my daughters third child and third boy.
9lbs 3 oz. That makes him 3oz bigger than her oldest and 4 oz bigger than #2. It’s genitics…all mine ran between 9-10 lbs…what can I say.
I’m waiting for my copy to show up as well - gotta love snail mail in the great white north! Love the stories Denise - your sense of humor and imagination are wonderful!
glad you’re better, Meg - and that you finished. Hmm, think I’d better scuttle back off and write a bit more of the next book. You think? LOL
And ow, ow, ow. You’re strong women, you and your daughter! Congrats to you both.
Welcome to the madhouse, Debbie! Thanks so much for orderingThe Flame and the Shadow, hope it arrives soon. I think the mail is just as slow in the great brown south Down Under. *drums fingers* Still waiting for my author copies.
So glad you enjoyed the stories. I know they’re silly, but they’re a lot of fun to write - don’t have to edit them or pay attention to plot or character or any of that stuff. In fact, I’m just working on the next chapter of Rackety Kate and the Pirates now. It’s an interesting challenge keeping track of the body parts…
